Terms and Conditions for MK Plumbing & Heating

1) Definition of Parties
In these terms and conditions, “Client” refers to any individual or entity engaging the services of MK Plumbing & Heating. “Contractor” refers to MK Plumbing Dorset. “Services” encompass all plumbing and heating work carried out by MK Plumbing Dorset, irrespective of whether an estimate was provided.

2) General Provisions
2.1 – All estimates from MK Plumbing Dorset and any orders or instructions from the Client are governed by these terms, which override any other terms put forward by the Client.
2.2 – The Client agrees that these terms and any written estimates or work authorizations comprise the entire agreement for service provision.
2.3 – Amendments to these terms are only valid if made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

3) Estimates and Pricing
3.1 – Estimates are subject to change and are valid for 28 days.
3.2 – Final pricing is based on the estimate and additional costs incurred during service delivery. Significant price changes (over 10%) permit the Client to cancel the contract before work commencement.
3.3 – Unforeseen work will be communicated to the Client for approval. Work may continue if the Client is unreachable to avoid delays.

4) Payment Terms
4.1 – The Client agrees to pay the fees listed on MK Plumbing Dorset’s website for service provision.
4.2 – All fees exclude VAT, which the Client is responsible for paying.
4.3 – Payment is due upon service completion, with late payments incurring interest and potential service suspension.
4.4 – Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice; otherwise, fees may apply.

5) Work Guarantee
5.1 – Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. The guarantee is void if the work is tampered with or misused.
5.2 – MK Plumbing Dorset is not liable for the suitability of materials provided by the Client or for consequential damages.

6) Limitation of Liability
6.1 – MK Plumbing Dorset ensures service provision with reasonable care and skill.
6.2 – Liability is limited to fees paid by the Client and excludes indirect or consequential losses.

7) Force Majeure
MK Plumbing Dorset is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond its control.

8) Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for ensuring accessibility to utilities and for the safety of equipment used by MK Plumbing Dorset.

9) Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms are applicable as per the agreement, with fees charged for late cancellations.

10) Legal Governance
These terms are governed by the laws of [Applicable Jurisdiction], and both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of [Applicable Jurisdiction’s] courts.
